Over 15k miles of testing. Hundreds and hundreds of miles offroad and this lift kit just works as good as the day it was installed.

 

Other lift kits tend to cause a stiffer ride or compromise offroad capabilities. While this is not intended to compare to the coilover lift systems like Eibach or Icon, this lift system gives you the option to achieve the look you want without sacrificing ride quality.

 

Front Lift

 

Stage 1:

Lower spring spacer offers exactly the right lift height to level the front of the truck to the rear. This is the best place to start with the installation only taking about an hour to complete each side. The stock wheel and tire package still looks great. So if youre not ready to invest in a full wheel and tire package but want your truck to look its best, this is a solid foundation for building out your truck.

(These are intended for all trims below the ZR2 and AT4x)

Expected Lift: 1in

Stage 2:

Upper Spring spacer offers just a bit more lift to allow you to fit the next size or two tires up from stock. In the pictures above I have 285/75r17s which are just shy of a 33in tire. Even with the 1.5in wheel spacers I have room to jump up to 305/70r17 or nearly 34in equivalent with no rubbing expected.

(These spacers are intended for all trims including ZR2 and AT4x)

Recommended Additional Components: 

  • Differential Drop: It is recommended to lower the front diff when lifting over 1in. This kit lowers the front of your diff, but more importantly, it lowers your risk of breaking cv axles. 1 Kit includes Spacers and replacement hardware complete for 1 truck.
  • Sway bar Relocation Bracket: For the best ride quality you want your sway bar as flat as possible. once you lift the sway bar no longer lays flat at ride height. These spacers lower the sway bar and rearward just enough to bring the ride quality back. 1 Kit includes Spacers and replacement hardware complete for 1 truck.

 

Rear Lift

 

Shackles: While shackles are usually an inexpensive way to lift the rear of a leaf sprung vehicle we noticed 2 major issues with this method. First: By lifting only the rear of the leaf pack the pinion angle is no longer in spec and with the amount of torque these trucks produce you can very quickly destroy a rear u-joint from the axle wrapping upward upon acceleration. Do this enough times or essentially once loaded down or towing and you're in for a very expensive and lengthy tow. Second: The added travel incurred by the longer shackles causes the rear shock to become limit straps. This can actually blow out the seals and cause premature replacement. Now sure, you can add shock spacers and then your rear travel issues will be sorta solved but now even without maxing out the tire size you can cause torque steer and spceifically on my personal canyon I would delete my fender flares constantly with only 33's. For these reasons I do not reccommend shackles.

Lift Blocks: This is a method by which we are lifting the truck at the axle by placing a spacer below the leaf pack and above the axle. This instllation is more involved but will net a near stock ride at the new height and you wont experience nearly as much axle wrap as the shackles but the taller you go the more leverage you will cause on the axle.

Add-a-leaf: Now if you intend on adding a rack and gear, or towing or hauling constantly where the weight in the bed is a couple hundred pounds all the time you will want to consider increasing the spring rate of the leaves. a great an inexpensive way to do this is by adding a leaf to your stock leaf pack and reassembling. this will usually net in a small bit of height as well as increased carrying capacity.

At this time we do not intend on producing a rear lift.
