Let's face it the stock speakers kinda suck. Now add 100k miles and you get a truly horrible listening experience.

Gm used a proprietary mounting system on the front door speakers and alternate options were lets say "ghetto-rigged". This adapter allows you to use your choice of 6.5in speaker with a zero drill installation.

Use the factory hardware and even pull off the umbrella/cover Blaupunk used on their speakers. You can even upgrade this to employ some silicone speaker baffles to really improve the sound quality.

Or go crazy and sound deaden the entire cab like we did in the shop truck!

Kit comes with 2 adapters and speaker mounting hardware.

These are only for the front doors and extended cab rear doors. The crew cab rear doors do not need adapters.
