I you have a 4x4 Colorado or Canyon the factory t-case skid is quite literally attached to the bottom of the case. This offers little to no protection whatsoever.
 
Essentially if you manage to hit it on a rock while wheeling you will absolutely destroy your transfer case. 
 
This new skid plate bridges the gap between the cross members completely protecting the transfer case from an impact. 
 
This skid plate comes with all the necessary hardware to mount to the factory bolt holes already in the frame.
