BADLANDINDUSTRIES.com For years now I have wanted, NO, needed a winch on my 2023 Canyon. I do tons of off-roading/wheeling, but I also enjoy helping people and going on recoveries. I also don't want to be stuck somewhere or have to rely on anyone to come get me. traction boards only can do so much. I have modified my truck pretty subtly and this winch mount not only needed to be super strong but also look basically factory. At the time of release of this video these are in pre-production which means if you want to buy one you may wait a short while until they ship. This will change once we meet the minimum production quantity. At this time, we have not tested fitment on the 2023 Colorado's. We are in the process of finding a local owner willing to rip the front facia off. I am confident it will bolt up but the Badland Apex winch may be too large to clear the front bumper plastics. This will limit the winches you may be able to use but it will not affect the winch plate and how it installs. I will update you guys on this soon. You can absolutely simply delete the chain but when the bearing tolerance is so sloppy already you're asking for issues with oil pressure loss and potentially destroying your motor.
